From the host country. Immigration plays a dynamic

From many decades, immigrants
have significantly contributed to economic growth and created a more dynamic
society. People migrated due to many factors such as changing climate and
landscape, as well as insufficient food supply but in the past, migrants were
much fewer. Currently, people immigrate because there are favourable conditions
in the new country to encourage them; people migrate towards developed
countries to avail themselves of better opportunities regarding education,
business and employment. For the purpose of this essay, immigration is defined as a number of people who live their own country to go
to a destination country to live permanently. This essay will argue that
immigration benefits society. Firstly, immigration plays a vital role in
positive growth of economy. Secondly, high-skilled immigrants increase the
productivity of the host country.

Immigration plays a dynamic part in positive
development of the economy. This is because immigrants are a vital asset to the
economy and contribute greatly to the country’s total economic output. Firstly,
immigration expands the gross domestic product (GDP)
of the host country. According to Thompson (2014, p.320), from 2000 to 2010,  the Singaporean population grew significantly from
4.03 million to 5.08 million due to rising numbers of immigration, which has a
positively impacted on the growth rate of the GDP
over large time periods. Furthermore, increasing economies have more likely to impact
positively on the GDP. This
evidence shows that immigration leads the opportunity for development of a
country, as the increase in growth rate is ultimately associated to the
increase of per capita GDP. Secondly, the contribution of immigrants decreases
the federal budget deficit. A study by Chojnicki (2013, p.1077), suggests that
the global net contribution of immigration to the public budget in the year
2005 was 3.9 billion euros in France. Thus, for the year 2005, an immigrant has
made a net payment on the order of 800 euros as compared with about 220 euros
on average for a native, which provides benefit in a host country by giving
taxes and use of government services for purchases and property taxes for
housing rented or owned. Therefore, payroll taxes deducted with all those given
above which are renewed by federal government, and this produces a helpful net
involvement to the fiscal financial statement of the government. From this
evidence, it can be seen that workers from foreign countries contribute
positively to the economic development of host country. In addition, these
immigrants play a vital role to support host country in various ways such as
increasing work force, improve construction methods and develop latest mean of
transport and spend foreign currency in host country.   Based
on the above, immigration is the main source of national income, which stimulates
the economic development and GDP of the country.

The output of a country is enhanced significantly
by high-skilled immigrants. This is because every year, government of the
country introduces new job-related list, which the country need more in this
way immigrants helps efficiency of a country by providing skilled people from
all over the world. Firstly, immigration department offers permanent residency
and nationality to skilled immigrants as doctors, engineer and economists so
that they can settle down in their country and gain mutual benefits from each
other. According to Hanson (2012, p.26), in between 1960 and 2000, PhD and doctorate
people increase from one fifth to three fourth due to easy immigration policies
for skilled persons. In addition, other people such as electrician, pharmacists
and economists also increase in number due to this reason. This evidence shows
that innovation is promoted by high-skilled immigrants as well as positive net
contribution in the government fiscal account. Regardless of many obstacles
skilled immigrants raise the productivity of host country due to the offer that
makes immigration to stay and work in their country. Secondly, high-skilled
immigrants bring multiculturalism and workforce diversity. According to Lu,
Ying (2015, p.8), “the Australian labour force consists of 12 million people,
of whom by 2010-11, 27.4 precent were born overseas. Among these overseas- born
employed people, 59 precent were from outside the main English-speaking
countries. More specifically, among these skilled people, Chinese immigrants
account for a significant proportion of the Australian workforce and also the
increasing diversity in the workplace (Birrell and Healy, 2008; Shaw, 1995)”.
This evidence suggests that along with knowledge and skills, Chinese immigrants
also bring their distinct Chinese culture to the Australians workplace, which
contributes to the creation of a diverse workforce which allows making the use
of different resources, experiences, ideas to increase the creativity and
innovation. Furthermore, high-skilled immigrants needed to bring more deviation
in host country. In addition, hardworking and skilled immigrants regulated
productivity economically and socially. To conclude,

Henceforth, it is concluded that immigration
helps a country to overcome its deficiencies by providing skilled immigrants to
stay, work, travel and study in host country. Furthermore, the economy of that
country begin to raise gradually due to the innovation that has been created in
different fields such as construction, medical care, commercial economy by
skilled people from all around the country. In addition, foreigners play
important role to increase the economy of that country by paying taxes and
investing their money in that country in this way the output of country
increase. Many evidences and peer reviews which have been mentioned in this
easy show that immigration has vital role to improve host country GDP.
Therefore, it is clear that immigration benefits society at both national and
international levels.
