An in Slaying of Abducted Child.” The New

An abduction of an innocent six-year-old boy and head was found at Vero Beach. Because of
this crime, it was known as an all-time mystery. In the year of 1981, a boy by the name of Adam
Walsh was at Sears with his mother when she went to look at the lamps and Adam Walsh stayed
in the toy department. Minutes later, she could not find her son anywhere. She even call his name
through the intercom to see if he was still in the store. However, then a worker from Sears
reported that he had kicked several kids out and said one of them was her son. A drifter and
arsonist by the name of Ottis Toole has been the prime suspect since he confessed to committing
the crime in 1983. Ottis Toole knew details of the crime that not even the Hollywood police
headquarters has released to the media.

An innocent six-year-old boy was abducted from a mall on July 27, 1981 and two weeks
later his head was found 120 miles from the mall at Vero Beach. Adam’s body was never
too been found. After twenty-seven years later, the case is finally closed. The police
believe that Ottis Toole was the one who killed Adam. He was known as a drifter and a
convicted serial killer who confessed before dying in 1996. Adam’s dad, John Walsh,
known as the host in “America’s Most Wanted”, was at the conference with his wife and
his three other children when they announced that the case has been closed. Chief
Chadwick E. Wagner of the Hollywood Police Department said he had wished that this
case had become closed earlier, but due to failure of evidences, they did not find out
anything sooner. Years later, finally, justice was brought to the Walsh’s Family and they
can now have some peace about the death of their son.

An innocent six-year-old boy was abducted from a mall on July 27, 1981 and two weeks
later his head was found 120 miles from the mall at Vero Beach. The day Adam Walsh
went missing, his mother was browsing around the store while Adam played video games
a couple of aisles away. When she came back to get her son, he was nowhere to be found.
She had gone to customer service and asked a store clerk to call out his name on the
sound system, but there was no answer. Later, the police were called and a ground search
was issued for her missing son, Adam Walsh. After sixteen days of Adam has been
missing, two anglers found Adam’s head floating in a canal off the Florida turnpike.
Because of this crime, that was a turning point in how to deal with crimes against
children.
